National Assembly will prioritize youth empowerment and security infrastructure.

Philip Agbese, the Member-Elect for Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency, after obtaining his Certificate of Return in Abuja from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) revealed that the 10th National Assembly’s priorities will be the empowerment of young people and the restoration of Nigeria’s security infrastructure. He said that the members of the 10th National Assembly are exceptionally intelligent and capable people who have already made their mark in their respective fields. He claimed that as a security specialist and proponent of young empowerment, his election and that of his colleagues were important steps in assuring the country’s security and prosperity.

Over the years, he has been indispensable in advancing national security discussions and has been a driving force behind key initiatives like the NYSC Trust Fund Bill and others in the country’s security sector. It’s good to say that the 10th National Assembly will be quite powerful. The caliber of participation will be high due to the newly elected parliamentarians. He added that the Improvements to the national security architecture would be a priority for those of them who have engaged in helping shape its development.

The country’s security architecture would be rebuilt.

To achieve the ultimate goal of assuring Nigeria’s continuous growth and development, citizens may be certain that not only will the country’s security architecture be rebuilt with quality representation in mind but that youth development activities will also be prioritized. Speaking on the National Assembly’s plans to rebuild the country’s national security architecture, Agbese remarked that one of the objectives of the President-Elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was to secure the security of people and properties through the reconstruction of confidence and improve the quality of appointments in the security sectors, among several other efforts.

According to him, the president-elect is quite competent. He has reassured all stakeholders of his commitment to unify the nation with measures that foster inclusivity and unity. The President-elect has grand intentions to address national security issues; those familiar with the country’s security infrastructure know this. In addition, he says, the 10th National Assembly understands the necessity of coordinating closely with the executive arm to accomplish this goal. The President-elect and Vice President-elect are both hardworking, dedicated people who are eager to get to work fixing the country’s economic and social problems.

Policies and activities that would keep youth involved is needed.

In addition, he argues he has never wavered in his support for the President-elect because he is confident in his ability and character to improve the country’s situation properly. He can tell Nigerians that the 10th National Assembly is on board with the administration’s priorities of strengthening national security and investing in the country’s youth. Agbese, who is a security specialist and advocate for youth development, stated that there is a need to implement policies and activities that would keep the country’s massive youth population actively involved for the good of the community.

Youth’s involvement in growth and security depends on the state’s ability to capitalize on their capabilities and meet their needs. Youths are at the centre of development processes because of how susceptible they are to socioeconomic shocks and how quickly they are growing up. In both positive and negative ways, youth are also very important to security in developing countries. The rising population is a key factor that makes youth political instability severe and is at the root of some of the main threats to security and development. As a result, efforts to improve national security and foster the growth of the country’s youth will be the focus.

Agbese, a member of the house of representative, endorses Tinubu.

Moreover, Agbese has been elected to serve Benue State as the All-Progressive Congress (APC) member. Following his victory, he will serve as the representative for the Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadigbo constituency in the House of Representatives of the Federal Government. Also, he has been quite public about his endorsement of President-Elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and he argued that his election is a defeat for those who wish to undermine Nigeria’s democracy and his plan to advance the country.
