Victor Osimhen set for loan move to Galatasaray after Chelsea and Saudi links.

Galatasaray is negotiating a Loan move for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, the Turkish Super Lig club announced. The 25-year-old Nigerian forward, who signed a contract extension with Napoli through 2026 and has a €130 million release clause, was expected to leave the club at the end of last season. Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis confirmed this, and Osimhen was excluded from Napoli’s Serie A squad for the current campaign. Although a transfer to Chelsea or Saudi Pro League side Al Ahli was anticipated, both deals fell through. As the Turkish transfer window remains open until September 18, Galatasaray still has the opportunity to finalize the loan deal. Osimhen’s 26 goals were instrumental in Napoli’s Scudetto win two seasons ago, but his situation has since become contentious.

Nicolas Jackson extends his his contract with Chelsea until 2033.

Chelsea have extended Nicolas Jackson’s contract by two years, keeping the Senegalese striker at Stamford Bridge until 2033. The new deal reflects the club’s confidence in the £32m signing from Villarreal, who is now tied to Chelsea for a potential nine-year term. The extension comes after a failed move for Napoli’s Victor Osimhen on deadline day, solidifying Jackson’s role as Chelsea’s primary striker. Jackson, who turned 23 recently, scored 12 goals in 35 La Liga games with Villarreal and shows promise for further growth. If he fulfills his contract, he could spend a decade with Chelsea.
