Globally, the sector contributes significantly to GDP, accounting for about 10% and creating millions of jobs annually. To elevate the sector, strategic investments in infrastructure, such as better transport networks and accommodation facilities, are essential. These improvements will enhance accessibility and the overall visitor experience. Additionally, marketing campaigns highlighting Nigeria’s rich Cultural Heritage could attract international attention and boost tourism revenues. Policies that encourage Private Sector investment, such as Tax incentives for tourism-related businesses, would play a crucial role. Ensuring political stability and strengthening Security measures are vital to alleviating concerns for both local and international tourists.
