Another protester, Jamie Bauer, expressed satisfaction in seeing Trump being held accountable, believing that justice was finally being served. Political leaders around the world outside the US were starting to respond. Trump’s attempt to win back the presidency is not impacted by the guilty verdict. Matteo Salvini, the deputy prime minister of Italy and leader of the League Party, took to X to show his unwavering backing for Trump. He described Trump as being unfairly targeted by the legal system and Politics. Salvini went on to express his wish for Trump’s victory, believing it would bring stability and a positive outlook for global peace.
