Government shows concerns about the loss of lives and damage to properties.

The recent protests across Nigeria have sparked significant debate and concern. From the government’s view, several factors at play have shaped their response and policies towards these demonstrations. The protests, which began as peaceful demonstrations by young Nigerians seeking better governance and opportunities, quickly escalated into violent outbreaks in various states, leading to the loss of lives, destruction of properties, and widespread looting. As the Protest intensifies, government officials have resorted to labelling the organisers as unsuccessful candidates from past elections, enemies of democracy, and more.
