President Bola Tinubu will initiate an important diplomatic mission this Sunday, November 17, travelling to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to attend the 19th G20 Leaders’ Summit. The call to the summit was issued by Brazil’s President, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, who is presently leading the G20. The theme for this year’s gathering is ‘Building a Just World and a Sustainable Planet,’ highlighting a worldwide focus on fair progress and ecological sustainability. Leaders from the 20 largest economies, along with representatives from the European Union, African Union, and various multilateral financial organizations, will gather for the event. President Tinubu’s involvement is intended to reinforce Nigeria’s standing in this area, exemplifying the country’s successes and role on the global front. This includes Dr. Aliyu Abdullahi, the Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Security; Yusuf Tuggar, the Minister of Foreign Affairs; Hannatu Musawa, the Minister of Art, Tourism, Culture, and Creativity; Idi Maiha, the Minister of Livestock Development; and Mohammed Mohammed, the Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency.
