Sprix Inc Limited, a Chinese company, has collaborated with the educational Technology (EduTech) firm Gladely to introduce new coding features that will boost the technological abilities of young students in the country. Hiroki Watanabe, head of the company’s Global Division, recently discussed their collaboration with EduTech in a briefing. He detailed how they offer students Information Technology (IT) educational material. Collaborating with many countries, they have established partnerships with Ministries of Education and signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoU). This collaboration enables them to provide Gradely users with access to online coding camps.
According to Watanabe, participants will have the opportunity to learn 30 computer science concepts during the camp. He stated the importance of partnering with the country, noting its strategic position as a gateway to Africa. He also pointed out that the nation has effectively collaborated with Kenya, Uganda, and other African nations. This alliance plays a crucial role in the country’s achievements. Gradely’s CEO, Boye Oshinaga, emphasised the platform’s dedication to mastering learning strategies by offering virtual tutors for student education. Through this initiative, Oshinaga aims to impact 10 million children.

Many regions still lack reliable internet connectivity, and not all students can access computers or tablets. To address these issues, the partnership works on solutions like providing offline learning resources and establishing school computer labs.
