Ligue 1 champions express interest in United star, Jadon Sancho.
Paris Saint-Germain is on the hunt for a replacement for Kylian Mbappé, who joined Real Madrid earlier this summer. Reports suggest that the Ligue 1 champions are interested in Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho. Despite Sancho’s recent return to Manchester United, where he participated in a 2-0 friendly win over Rangers in Edinburgh, PSG is keen on acquiring him.
Last season, Sancho and Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag had a fallout, leading to the winger’s Loan to Borussia Dortmund for the second half of the 2023/24 season. However, Sancho seems to have resolved the issues with ten Hag and is now close to agreeing on personal terms with PSG. The 24-year-old winger is reportedly “extremely excited” about the project presented to him by the Parisian club. While it’s unclear if United will sell Sancho, they are reportedly open to offers around £40 million.

Everton prepared to offer Jarrad Branthwaite a new contract this summer.
After turning down several offers from Manchester United for Jarrad Branthwaite, Everton is preparing a new contract proposal for the defender. The Toffees no longer feel pressured to make a big-money sale, especially after Amadou Onana’s £50 million transfer, which alleviated their financial concerns. Additionally, the club’s upcoming takeover is expected to further stabilize their finances.
Everton is determined to retain Branthwaite and intends to use the new contract to deter potential suitors. They are not willing to let the English defender leave unless a significant offer comes in. However, Manchester United has no plans to meet Everton’s proposed price tag of £75-80 million, especially since they have already signed Leny Yoro. Everton is expected to present Branthwaite with the new deal proposal later this summer.

Atlético Madrid close to signing Girona striker, Artem Dovbyk.
Following Álvaro Morata’s departure, Atlético Madrid are poised to sign Artem Dovbyk from Girona. The striker, who claimed the Pichichi trophy last season with 24 goals, played a crucial role in helping Girona achieve their first-ever Champions League qualification. Although Dovbyk had a disappointing Euro 2024 campaign, he remains one of the most sought-after players in the transfer market, and Atlético Madrid appear to have secured his signature. Sources indicate that the clubs are currently finalizing the payment structure to meet Dovbyk’s €40 million release clause, after which the agreement will be completed. Dovbyk has already agreed to personal terms with Atlético and is ready to make the move. His addition is expected to significantly bolster Atlético Madrid’s attacking options for the upcoming season.
