Jadon Sancho secures loan move to Chelsea with a buy obligation.
Wantaway Manchester United star, Jadon Sancho has joined Chelsea on a season-long Loan from Manchester United, with a permanent transfer set for £25 million next summer. The deal, finalized nearly 24 hours after the transfer window closed, includes an obligation for Chelsea to complete the permanent move. Chelsea’s interest in Sancho intensified on Friday, leading to the submission of a deal sheet before the 11pm deadline. Earlier in the transfer window, Sancho was also linked with Juventus but preferred a move to Chelsea. Despite a brief appearance in the Community Shield, Sancho fell out of favor with Manchester United and was excluded from the squad for the first two Premier League matches. This move ends a challenging period at Old Trafford for Sancho, who now aims to establish himself in Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea squad.

10-man Arsenal team settle for a draw as Brighton maintain unbeaten.
Brighton halted Arsenal’s perfect start to the Premier League season with a 1-1 draw at the Emirates on Saturday. Arsenal had been in control in the first half, taking the lead through Kai Havertz, who scored in the 38th minute after a slick assist from Bukayo Saka. However, the Gunners’ dominance waned after the break when Declan Rice was controversially sent off for a second yellow card after kicking the ball away as Brighton’s Joël Veltman prepared for a free-kick. Brighton capitalized on the numerical advantage, with Joao Pedro scoring into an empty net after a save by David Raya from Yankuba Minteh. Both teams had chances to secure victory, with Havertz and Saka missing key opportunities, while Raya made a crucial save against Yasin Ayari.
