FIFA to consider allowing domestic league games to be played overseas.
The plan for making domestic league games be played abroad is gaining momentum. In new reports, FIFA has approved a new body to assess the implications of allowing domestic league games to be played abroad. The footballing body announced on Wednesday that about 10-15 of its members representing clubs, confederations, associations, league, players and private entities will make recommendations on the policy. This comes after the legal settlement between FIFA and US match promoter, Relevant Sports. While this policy will bring huge profits to the League and clubs, critics and fans alike are united in their disapproval of this policy.

This means we could soon see games like Man Utd vs. Man City or Real Madrid vs. Barcelona in the USA.
Yesterday, FIFA formed a working group of 10 to 15 members to explore the idea. 👥
