Nottingham Forest given a 4-point deduction for breaching financial rule.
After Everton, Nottingham Forest have also been punished with a four-point deduction for breaching the Premier League Profitability and Sustainability Rule. (PSR). The club had earlier admitted guilt and fully cooperating with the independent commission, prompting a less severe punishment. The deduction will see them move from 25 points to 21, putting them in the relegation zone at 18th. In a new statement, Nottingham Forest has expressed their extreme disappointment with this decision, noting that despite fully cooperating with the independent commission, the trust and confidence they had in the Premier League body has been hurt.
