The Executive Vice Chairman/CEO of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), Mr. Khalil Halilu, has stated that the agency’s goal is to become the top leading Innovation and Technology transfer agency in Nigeria. According to a statement made public by Mr. Segun Ayeoyenikan, Director of Information at NASENI, Halilu pledged to transform the organization’s position in the country’s technical landscape. He noted that the agency has introduced a total of 36 products that are available ready to be marketed under his direction, including smart home systems, electric vehicles, and solar Irrigation pumps.
According to him, the organization plans to establish a showroom where customers can walk in and make Retail purchases. He emphasized how important it has been for product development to build alliances with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and other strategic allies. Halilu reflected on his vision for the agency, noting that he would improve NASENI by emphasizing the socioeconomic growth of Nigeria and the accomplishment of the incumbent administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda. He added that his goal is to make sure that NASENI’s innovations make a major contribution to Nigeria’s economic expansion.
