The minister expressed concern about Economic Stability during the 2024 Synod of the Charismatic Bishops Conference of Nigeria in Abuja, emphasizing the negative impact of accepting wages that are not feasible.

While supporting the idea of increasing wages, he stressed the need for caution to prevent negative effects on the economy, such as job losses and decreased Welfare for the population of about 200 million Nigerians.
