Massimiliano Allegri finally leaves Juventus after Coppa Italia win.
Juventus has officially announced its decision to sack head coach, Massimiliano Allegri after Wednesday’s Coppa Italia win. Big thanks to Dušan Vlaholić’s goal, Juventus triumphed over Atalanta in Rome and Allegri’s reaction to a refereeing decision late in the game was one of the biggest takeaways from the game. While the Italian Football Federation’s disciplinary tribunal is set to launch an investigation into Allegri, Juventus has confirmed parting ways with the manager with immediate effect. In its official statement, the club stated that “the dismissal follows certain behaviours during and after the Italian cup final which the club deemed incompatible with its values and the behaviours that those who represent it must adopt.”
