According to TNT Sports, their contract with the NBA includes a clause that requires any competing bidder to withdraw if the current rights holder matches their offer. TNT claims Amazon failed to honour this clause. In a statement, Warner Bros Discovery criticized the NBA for rejecting the loyal fan base of their long-standing coverage. They stated, “We think they have grossly misinterpreted our contractual rights with respect to the 2025-26 season and beyond, and we will take appropriate action.” Despite the dispute, they look forward to continuing their coverage of the NBA on TNT and Max for the upcoming season, including their iconic show, *Inside the NBA*.

Sky Sport announces deal to broadcast NBA games for the next 11 years.
An agreement was reached with Sky Sports. This new deal with the NBA is to broadcast games for the next eleven years. Known for covering the Premier League, international cricket, live golf, tennis, and F1, Sky Sports will now add the NBA to its line-up. The channel will air 48 games annually, either live or delayed, from the regular season and up to 13 live games from the NBA Playoffs. Every game of the best-of-seven Finals will be shown exclusively live in the UK. Additionally, the NBA All-Star Game, scheduled for February 20 in Denver, will be broadcast exclusively live in the UK, featuring the league’s biggest stars. French club, Bordeaux to give up their professional status as a club.
Bordeaux has relinquished its professional status after being administratively relegated from French soccer’s second tier earlier this week, as reported by Sud Ouest. The six-time French champions were dropped to the semi-professional third tier following the collapse of a takeover bid by Fenway Sports Group, the owners of Liverpool.
