Joan Laporta reveals clubs that have agreed to join the Super League.
A month after European Union’s top court ruled in favour of the Super League tournament, Barcelona president, Joan Laporta has come out to namecheck some of the European clubs that have agreed to join the tournament. Some of these clubs include Inter Milan, Roma, Porto, Sporting Lisbon, PSV and all Spanish clubs excluding Atletico Madrid. Despite the Super League idea receiving a huge pushback from Premier League fans, Laporta has further disclosed that some English teams have shown support privately for the tournament’s vision. He also noted that he did not care if Premier League teams decides to or not join. There is no clear information right now as regards how the tournament will be structured or when it will commence.
