Cole Palmer reveals reason for leaving Manchester City in the summer.
Chelsea star, Cole Palmer has been one of the Premier League’s biggest stars since securing a £42.5 million move to Chelsea in the summer. Regardless, his move away from Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City has always been a shock, especially as he was already breaking into the first team. The England forward has however revealed that he left Man City because his vision for his career wasn’t aligning with teams plans. Palmer noted that he wanted to play consistently and City was not able to offer him the chance. With eleven goals and eight assists, he is no doubt in contention for the league’s young player of the year award.
🔵 Cole Palmer: “I decided to leave City as I thought I was ready to play football week in week out. That's the reason I come to Chelsea”.
“I wanted to showcase my ability week in week out like I said. Thankfully it's paid off”, told Sky. pic.twitter.com/0J0bUa4i7F
