The Federal Government of Nigeria has approved the Construction of an airstrip for Bishop David Oyedepo’s Living Faith Church Worldwide, commonly known as Winners Chapel. Oyedepo made this significant announcement at the Tehillah Night Special Edition held at Covenant University Chapel. The airstrip will be located at Faith Tabernacle in Canaanland, Ota, Ogun State, which serves as the church’s headquarters. The congregation received the news with excitement, as it signified a significant achievement for the ministry, recognised as one of the largest worldwide.
Furthermore, the airstrip will allow more accessible transportation for him and his church members, especially during the church’s global events, which attract thousands of worshippers from different countries. Instead of going to local airports, he and his church members can take off straight from the church grounds with private planes. During his speech, Bishop Oyedepo expressed his excitement, noting that the approval for this project will ease his frequent journeys to a traditional airport, which can be quite inconvenient. The new airstrip will offer a straightforward connection for him and others in comparable situations, simplifying their travel to and from the church.
