Look away football fans, the inevitable is nearing. Portugal and Al Nassr star, Cristiano Ronaldo is hinting at a possible Retirement from football after the upcoming Euros tournament. The 5-time Ballon d’Or winner scored a brace in Portugal’s final friendly match against Ireland on Tuesday and looked in good shape ahead of their Euros opener against Czech Republic. In the post-game interview, the 39-year-old striker opened up on being included in Portugal’s squad for the 2024 Euros, hinting at a possible retirement in coming years. He said, “I don’t have many years left in football… so I have to enjoy it. I’m in love with football. Every game is special. Imagine at the Euros with Portugal, you feel proud… it’s a dream, like when I was 20.” Coming off a 50-goal season, Ronaldo will be hoping to help Portugal lift its second Euros title.
