A’ja Wilson becomes the first WNBA player to surpass 1000 points in a season.
Two-time MPV, A’ja Wilson made WNBA history by becoming the first player to score 1,000 points in a single season during the Las Vegas Aces’ 84-71 victory over the Connecticut Sun on Sunday. Wilson hit the milestone with a pull-up jumper from the elbow with just two minutes left in the game. Earlier in the week, she broke the previous single-season scoring record set by Jewell Loyd last year. Following her achievement, the Aces called a timeout, and her teammates celebrated by mobbing her. Wilson then received a standing ovation from the crowd, clapping her hands in appreciation. The Aces, now with a 25-13 record, lead Seattle by one game for the No. 4 playoff seed and home-court advantage. Las Vegas has won seven of its last eight games heading into the postseason.

Arsenal wins the North London derby despite Rice and Martin Ødegaard’s absence.
Gabriel Magalhães’ header secured a 1-0 victory for Arsenal over Tottenham on Sunday, extending the Gunners’ dominance in the north London derby. Despite missing key midfielders Declan Rice (suspended) and Martin Ødegaard (injured), Arsenal delivered a resilient performance. Tottenham’s wasteful finishing allowed Arsenal to capitalize, with Gabriel’s second-half goal marking his first since February. The win gave Arsenal their third triumph in four Premier League games, keeping them unbeaten as they chase their first title since 2004 after two consecutive runner-up finishes. Arsenal have now won their last three visits to Tottenham, losing only once in their last eight meetings. The Gunners sit second in the table, two points behind Manchester City, with a Champions League match against Atalanta and a league clash with City on the horizon.
