James McClean makes a huge claim about England star, Declan Rice.

Arsenal’s midfielder, Declan Rice has impressed greatly since his £100 million move to Arsenal last summer. After leading the North London club to one of the fiercest title challenges in recent times, many pundits and fans have labelled him a world-class player. However, he has not had the dream start in the current Euros competition. Former Ireland winger, James McClean has described Rice as being very overrated. After his display against Serbia, McClean expressed his dissatisfaction. He said, I think Declan Rice is very overrated. Don’t get me wrong, I think he is a very good footballer but the way the English media wax lyrical about him, I think it’s completely over the top.” Comparing him to Germany’s Jamal Musiala and Toni Kroos, McClean explained that the Arsenal star has failed to justify his hype.

England started the game on a bright side as Harry Kane rebounded a deflected cross from Kyle Walker for an early lead in the 18th minute. However, Denmark got a well-deserved equalizer from Morten Hjulmand’s stunning shot from nearly 24 yards. Despite England being one of the favourites to win the competition, they have failed to showcase dominance in any of their 2 games.
