American singer and songwriter, Chlöe Bailey has been in the spotlight since going solo. Her debut album, “In Pieces” which was released last year received good reviews from critics, with hit songs like “Body Do” reenjoying mainstream success. Days after Normani’s debut album announcement, emerging stories have pointed to a potential reunion between the girl-group. With their hit song, “All in my Head” going viral on TikTok, sources have claimed that Normani, Lauren Jauregui, Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane are currently in talks actualize the reunion. Also, the source has disclosed that talks are being held with Camila Cabello, who left the group in 2016, to also be a part of the group.

Popular singer, Rihanna has graced the stage for the first time in nearly eight years, as she was paid heavily to perform at a pre-wedding ceremony for Indian billionaire, Mukesh Ambani. Reportedly paid a whooping $9 million, she thrilled fans to a 19-song performance including “Birthday Cake”, “Desperado”, “Bitch Better Have My Money” and “Work”. Without counting the Super-Bowl and Oscars’ performances, this is Rihanna’s first show since 2016.

James Blake comments one the impact of TikTok on the music industry.
TikTok has become one of the biggest platforms for music marketing and while numerous artists have had songs with global success, all thanks to the platform, the issue of royalties have been significant in the discourse. English singer and songwriter, James Blake is the latest to comment on artists being ripped off by TikTok. Citing his Frank Ocean’s ”Godspeed” cover, he revealed that he never made a cent off it and people didn’t even know it was his cover because his name did not show up when played. He continued on stating that when your favourite artist goes viral, just remember they are not making anything off these instances and that the industry is not fully in the favour of the artist.
