Cardi B and Pardison Fontaine finally release their long-awaited collaboration.

American rappers, Cardi B and Pardison Fontaine have finally released their long-awaited collaboration, “Toot It Up”, via Hitmaker Music Group. This marks their first joint track since 2018’s “Backin’ It Up”, though Pardi has been a key contributor to many of Cardi’s biggest hits, including Bodak Yellow, “I Like It”, “WAP”, and much of her Grammy-winning album Invasion of Privacy. Despite the long gap between collaborations, “Toot It Up” was actually recorded shortly after their first song and was initially shelved. Teased before the pandemic, fans have eagerly awaited its release, with snippets circulating for years. Some were surprised by the timing, given Fontaine’s past relationship with Megan Thee Stallion, a close friend of Cardi’s. Addressing the chatter, Cardi explained in an X Spaces session that she remains neutral in personal matters, saying, “When I like two people, I stay away from their shit.” With its official release, Toot It Up finally meets fan expectations.
