Ruger parts ways with Jonzing World, announces new record label.

Afrobeats star, Ruger has grown into one of Nigeria’s greatest young musical export, churning hit records consistently since his emergence in 2021. With hit songs like “Asiwaju”, “Bounce” and “Wewe”, he has been one of the biggest testament to D’Prince’s talent management success. In a new freestyle, Ruger has just announced leaving D’Prince’s Jonzing World for his own record label, Blown Boy Ent. Right now, it remains uncertain, the cause of this disassociation but fans are hoping that it is nothing serious than a contract obligation being fulfilled.

Skepta teases new single which features Nigerian star, Portable.

After featuring ODUMODUBLVCK on the new single “Jangrova” for his upcoming feature movie, “Tribal Mark”, Skepta has now teased another collaboration with Nigerian street artist, Portable. The duo met a month ago, where Skepta invited him to the London Fashion Awards and they also spent some time together in the studio. The song is produced by acclaimed music producer Jae 5 and although the release date is unknown, fans believe that it will be added to Skepta’s upcoming album, “Knife and Fork”.

Celebrity couple, Adekunle Gold and Simi have shown again and again, their musical chemistry through consistent hit collaborations, the latest being “Look What You Made Me Do” off Adekunle Gold’s album, “Tio Tequila “. Popular Nigerian songwriter and vocalist, Timi Dakolo is back with a new single, “Men of the South” which is produced by Mastercraft. The beautiful song well celebrates the cultural identity of Southern Nigeria and the newly released video showcases their cultural heritage. This comes ahead of his highly anticipated album, “The Chorus Leader”. The album will include songs that generally honor the resilience and character of the Nigerian people.


Davido charts 9 songs simultaneously on the US iTunes chart.

Afrobeats legend, Davido is making history with his new album, “Timeless”. With hits like “Unavailable” and “Feel”, he continues to establish his global dominion, performing in some of the world’s biggest arenas and clinching three Grammys nominations. Presently, all nine versions of his hit song, “Unavailable” is presently charting in the top 200 of the United States’ iTunes chart. He has just created a new record as the first African artist to simultaneously chart nine songs in the US iTunes Charts.
