Naira continues to gain, rebounds to N950/$ in the parallel market.
The depreciating value of naira has been one of Nigeria biggest concerns in the global market. Consequently, local and international expenses have increased. In a bid to salvage this foreign exchange crisis, President Tinubu recently appointed Dr. Olayemi Cardoso to take over as the new CBN governor. Over the last three days however, the Naira has rebounded against the US dollar, strengthening to ₦950 per dollar, compared to the ₦1,125/$ on Thursday. Nigerians are hopeful that the local currency continues its gains against the dollar, to reduce inflation in the country.
