Spotify calls out Apple Music for its anti-competitive practices.
Two of the biggest music streaming platforms globally, Spotify and Apple Music seem to be at loggerheads. Over the years, Spotify has criticized Apple for giving anti-competitive favours to its Apple Music streaming platform and on Friday, launched another call-out against Apple. The streaming company took to social media to complain that “Apple’s anti-competitive practices harm competitors and result in higher prices, lower product quality and less choice. Spotify went further to state that “In tech, a good user experience is everything. But Apple intentionally forces competitors like Spotify to degrade its customer experience while giving their own app (Apple Music) the freedom to do what they want. This is anticompetitive behaviour and it is illegal.”

Drake releases new Kendrick Lamar diss track, “Family Matters”.
The hip hop beef between Canadian rapper, Drake and Kendrick Lamar thickens with each passing day. After K.Dot’s double releases — “Euphoria” and “6:16 in LA”, Drake is back to the playing field with a bore diss track. The new song, “Family Matters” is 7-minutes long with three different beat switches. Over the first beat, he takes shots at Kendrick’s marriage with a video of the van from “Good Kid, M.A.A.d city being crushed. He also criticizes Kendrick’s black messiah complex when he is engaged to a mixed race woman. In the last segment of the song, Drake accuses Kendrick of domestic abuse, questioning why he has failed to marry his fiancée after being engaged since 2015. While this is a huge moment for hip hop culture, fans are concerned about the huge allegations flying around between the two parties.
