Ye speaks on the potential streaming release of “Vultures 2”.
Ye and Ty Dolla $ign’s collab album, “Vultures” has been one of the most successful global projects this year, spending two weeks at number one on the Billboard top 200 albums chart. The album’s second volume which did not drop on the scheduled March 8 date might not be dropping on any streaming platform. Ye, who has been vocal about streaming platforms exploiting artists, is planning on releasing the album exclusively on his website, cutting the third-party streaming services out. Whilst this looks to create a stronger artist-audience bond, fans are against this idea, which they claim will limit access to his art.
