The Netherlands national team have had an inconsistent run in the Euro 2024 qualifiers and with their Euro 2024 qualification on the brink, the Dutch team had to step up and defeat Greece in a crucial match. Liverpool captain, Virgil van Dijk’s converted penalty was enough to see the Netherlands through the bad-tempered game, pushing them to second on the Group B standing, six points below France. Despite having the same twelve points as Greece, they move to second on the head-to-head basis. The Dutch side will be looking to seal their qualification as they host Ireland and travel to Gibraltar in November.

He highlighted that with these necessary developments in place, the Nollywood industry would compete globally with other global movie industries.

Popular music executive, Dayo Adeneye, who is also known has D1 is the latest to criticize women for overtly pursuing materialistic endeavours. On the Honest Bunch Podcast, the Kennis Music co-founder tackled the women’s obsession with commodifying their bodies over putting in real brain efforts. Eric Cantona pledges his support for Palestine in the ongoing Gaza conflict.
The ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas has caused the death of thousands of innocent victims and Eric Cantona is the latest to speak on the unfortunate situation. In a shared social media post, the Manchester United legend joined the “Free Palestine” movement, calling for an end to the apartheid regime imposed by the government of Israel. Other football stars like Mesut Ozil and Nawal El Ghazi have also joined in speaking against the ongoing war.

The Houston Rockets trade Kevin Porter Jr. for Victor Oladipo.
Fifth year guard, Kevin Porter Jr. has been traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder alongside two future round first picks. In return, the Houston Rockets will get Victor Oladipo and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl. However, Porter Jr. will not remain with Thunder, as there are plans to immediately waive him and pay his remaining $16.9 million. This is as a result of the assault charges he is presently facing. It is hugely unlikely that the guard will remain in the NBA.
