Kelvin Kiptum breaks marathon world record on U.S Marathon debut.
Kenyan long-distance runner, Kelvin Kiptum has just broken the marathon world record, winning the Chicago Marathon in 2 hours and 35 seconds. This record was held formerly by fellow Kenyan, Eliud Kipchoge, who set a 2 hour, 1 minute and 9 seconds record at the 2022 Berlin Marathon. Kiptum, who is 23 years old went closer to even breaking the two hours barrier. After the race, Kelvin Kiptum said that while a world record was not in his plans prior to the race, he always knew he would be a world record holder.

One of the recurring controversies that has rocked the Nollywood industry is the luxurious lifestyles that many new Nollywood actresses have projected. Many have raised speculations as to big names sponsoring these lifestyles and although there is no direct evidence to this, arguments have been hinged on the ripple effects that this can cause to young hard working women. He questioned new Nollywood actresses’ who are in fact yet to accrue a career lead role, to be able to afford these huge luxuries as well as the role of the media in propagating these lifestyles. This, he stated, was hugely critical as it undermines the importance of hard work.

Milwaukee Bucks have become one of the strongest franchises in the Eastern conference and the acquisition of All Star point guard, Damian Lillard has further heightened their chances of winning another championship.
