Hilary Duff, Tien Tran and Francia Raisa join Actor Strike.
America’s Actors Union, SAG-AFTRA decided to commence a strike action on July 14, as a result of the present labor dispute with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers. This coincides with the Writers’ strike in America, a part of the wider Hollywood labour problems. Actors have demanded for an increase in pay and a reshaping of the residuals they receive, something that they believe have immensely reduced since the introduction of streaming platforms. Hilary Duff, Tien Tran and Francia Raisa have all recently joined in the protest.

Davido’s “Kante” garnered over 122,000 streams on Spotify yesterday.
Davido’s TIMELESS album has further stamped his name in the history books as one of Afrobeats’ greatest entertainers. IIkay Gündogan commences training as a Barcelona player.
Former Manchester City player, Gündogan decided to leave for Barcelona as a free agent, after the treble winning heroic season. The German, who was a crucial part of the club’s success, was in the form of his life towards the end of the season, killing Manchester United’s FA cup dreams with his brace in the finals. In fact, his goals in the last league matches gave Man City a boost over Arsenal in the title race. The midfielder, after joining Barcelona, has now commenced training with the team and will be looking to make his mark in the team.
