“Mr and Mrs Smith” has been renewed for season two on Prime Video.

Popular Amazon tv series, “Mr and Mrs Smith” has been renewed for a second season. The first season, which featured Donald Glover and Maya Erskine as lonely strangers who both land jobs in a spy agency, was heavily criticized by fans and emerging reports have suggested that the duo would not be returning for the new season. However, Glover will still be credited as a co-creator on the show while also joining Frascesca Sloane as the executive producers.

Cardi B says no album this year in new social media outburst.

American rapper, Cardi B has shocked her fans with a new revelation about her sophomore album. In a series of new-deleted posts on X, Cardi responded to a fan who said it was time for her to pull back from social media as engagement with her fans has been underappreciated. Agreeing with this X user, Cardi B wrote, “Exactly and I tell myself this all the time and I hate that I fall back and start interacting again.” She went further to reveal that she would not be dropping her sophomore album this year. She wrote, “anyways, no album this year. I don’t care I’m relaxing this year… dropping these features I already committed to and traveling and enjoying my summer.” Cardi B has not released an album since “Invasion of Privacy” which was released in 2016 and music lovers have criticized her for continually disrespecting her core fans.

“Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power” season two trailer has been released.

Amazon has released the official trailer for the “Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power” season two. The action-packed tv season unravels the rise of Sauron during middle-earth’s second age. The preview also shows the introduction of a new character, The Stranger who was first shown wielding a staff in the season 1 finale. Although it is yet to be confirmed, many people have expressed their impression of The Stranger being a young version of Gandalf, the most popular wizard of Middle-earth. The new season will premiere on August 29 on Amazon Prime Video.

Funke Akindele announces a new film production, “Finding Me”.

Coming off her highly successful “A Tribe Called Judah” which became the highest grossing Nigerian movie in history, Funke Akindele is set to thrill fans with a new release. She has taken to her social media platforms to announce the new project. She also shared a short snippet of the film which featured appearances from some of Nollywood’s best including Femi Adebayo, Shaffy Bello and Joseph Benjamin.
