The team will be looking to replicate similar performances and come out victorious against Brazil, in the race for who comes out top of the Group D table. Brazil currently sits second, two points below Nigeria. Although Brazil has been undefeated in their last two consecutive meetings against Nigeria, the Flying Eagles will be looking to get maximum points and top the group.

The Super Falconets thrashed Togo by 6-0 Wednesday, in their second game of the WAFU B tournament holding in Ghana. This makes it two wins out of two in the tournament, enough to secure them a place in the semi finals of the competition. So far, the team has scored 13 goals in the competition and have conceded no goals. A brace from both Amina Bello and Flourish Sebastine and goals from Esther Onyenezide and Opeyemi Ajakaye were enough to secure a convincing victory against Ghana.
