Beyoncé announces release date for new album, “Act II: Cowboy Carter”.

After releasing two singles, “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages”, Beyonće is now set to release her new album, “Act II: Cowboy Carter”. The album which is scheduled to be released on March 29, will be the second act of the “Renaissance” trilogy and will be in the Country genre. The album is also reportedly set to feature a cover for one of Dolly Parton’s hit songs. With the success of “Texas Hold ‘Em”, fans believe that Beyoncé can in fact win her first album of the year at the Grammys with this project.

Venita Akpofure releases new single with Magnito, “Gen Z Cypher”.

Big Brother Naija All-Star alumni, Venita Akpofure is the latest to join the Nigerian music industry, teaming up with popular rapper, Magnito for a new record, “Gen Z Cypher”. Burna Boy to co-headline the Lollapalooza Festival in Berlin.

Afrofusion star, Burna Boy has been on the road for his “I Told Them Tour” and has now been announced as one of the co-headliners for the Lollapalooza festival in Berlin later this year. The two-day festival, which boasts of about 100,000 annual attendees will be held on the 7th and 8th of September 2024. Other headliners at the event will also include Sam Smith, The Chainsmokers, Martin Garrix, Seventeen, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson.

American singer and songwriter, Chris Brown has faced huge backlash over the years, including his cancellation from fans and organizations, the latest being his un-invitation to the NBA All-Star games. Ahead of the deluxe version of his “11:11” album, Chris Brown has taken to social media to beat his chest to his greatness. On his Instagram story, he stated that “there will never be another Chris Brown! Don’t wait till I’m gone to realize that”.
