Ted Lasso reportedly set to return for its fourth season on Apple TV+.
Fans of Ted Lasso have reason to celebrate as the show is reportedly moving towards a fourth season. Sources from Variety have revealed that Warner Bros. has renewed options for original cast members Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, and Jeremy Swift. Jason Sudeikis is expected to be involved as an executive producer. Warner Bros. TV has yet to comment on the news. Discussions about the show’s return have been ongoing since its third season finale aired last year. In January, Warner Bros. TV CEO Channing Dungey hinted at a possible continuation. The studio will soon negotiate new deals with SAG-AFTRA cast members, including co-creators/executive producers Sudeikis and Brendan Hunt, as well as Juno Temple. Many cast members have expressed eagerness to return for another season.

Netflix releases a red band trailer for adult anime, Terminator Zero.
Following its global premiere at Anime NYC, Netflix has released a red band trailer for Terminator Zero, an adult action anime set in the iconic Terminator universe. Produced by Skydance Animation and animated by Japan’s Production I.G, the series presents a brutal depiction of the ongoing war between human survivors and machines. Set in 2022, the story connects to 1997, when Skynet’s self-awareness triggered its assault on humanity. Sonoya Mizuno voices Eiko, a resistance fighter sent back in time to thwart Skynet. The cast includes Timothy Olyphant as Terminator, André Holland as Malcolm Lee, Rosario Dawson as Koroko, and Ann Dowd as The Prophet. Created and executive produced by Mattson Tomlin, Terminator Zero premieres on Netflix on August 29th.

Macklemore cancels his show in Dubai to show solidarity for Sudan.
American rapper, Macklemore has cancelled his upcoming show at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena, which was set for October 4. The Grammy-winning artist, known for his Palestine-themed single “Hind’s Hall,” had initially been scheduled to perform at the venue last October. Macklemore announced the cancellation on Instagram, sharing that he did not make the decision lightly. He explained that he had been urged by several individuals to cancel the show as an act of solidarity with the people of Sudan and to boycott the UAE due to its involvement in the conflict there.
