Popular producer turned artiste, Young John has been on a roll over the last year, releasing some of the biggest hit songs in the Nigerian music scene. With this success, has come more platforms for the artiste to further showcase his potential. Now, he is prepared to go on a European tour and this will further boost his popularity, in his quest for global domination. This tour is scheduled to be kickstarted with a show in Antwerpen, Belgium on September 14 and will run across other European countries like Italy, Poland, Cyprus, Ireland, France and Spain.

Perhaps, one of Nigeria’s biggest crossover artiste, Tems is breaking boundaries globally with her talent. Since featuring on Wizkid’s global hit, Essence, whose remix with Justin Bieber scored Nigeria’s first top 10 Billboard hit, she has gone on to work with Drake, Beyoncé and a host of great artistes. However, many Nigerians have been unnecessarily critical of her stage performances and her music style generally. Most recently is the numerous attacks that being pushed on social media against her due to a published video of her Lollapalooza music festival. Super Falcons have been eliminated in the World Cup round of 16.
Nigeria Super Falcons emerged unbeaten in the group stage of the 2023 World Cup, beating Australia and getting draws against Canada and Northern Ireland. However, their journey in the tournament has now come to an end, after losing to England on penalties. Facing the Lionesses in the round of 16, many were quick to write the team off but they showed great resilience and attitude even in defeat. The team will be looking forward to compensating themselves as the Olympics come up next year and this time again, they will have a large number of Nigerians behind them.
