In a bid to curb the prevalence of drug abuse among Nigerian youths, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has just appointed Naira Marley as their War Against Drug Abuse (WADA) advocacy ambassador. This has come as a surprise to most Nigerians, who are questioning the selection due to the rapper’s history of drug use and other crimes. Nigerians believe that this selection will rather encourage people to abuse drugs, trumping the WADA advocacy.

Manchester United to reportedly announce Mason Greenwood return on Tuesday.
Two years ago, Mason Greenwood was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend and has since been left out of Manchester United squad. Earlier this year, the charges were dropped and in a statement from Greater Manchester Police, the charges were dropped due to new materials that came to light. Since, Manchester United have continued their private investigations and on Wednesday, the club released a statement on the issue, noting that their decision would be announced to the fans soon. New reports are now indicating that his return will be announced on Tuesday.

Olise accepts new deal from Crystal Palace despite Chelsea transfer bid.
English midfielder, Olise has been tipped as one of the best performing young forwards in the premier league over the last season. Premier league giants have lined up bids for the midfielder who is presently out injured. Despite Manchester City and Chelsea lining up bids to trigger his €35 million release clause, the midfielder seems to have agreed a new deal with Crystal Palace. Reports are however indicating that Chelsea left the negotiation after Crystal Palace noted their intention to go to a tribunal with Chelsea over Olise’s transfer.
