Boyz II Men developing a feature biopic that will detail their 30-year career.
Legendary R&B group Boyz II Men are set to bring their 30-year career to the big screen with a feature film biopic. Known for hits like End of the Road, It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday, On Bended Knee, One Sweet Day, and Motownphilly, the four-time Grammy winners have partnered with Compelling Pictures and Primary Wave to develop the film. Group members Nathan Morris, Shawn Stockman, and Wanya Morris will serve as executive producers. Compelling Pictures will also produce a long-form documentary on the group’s dominance during the 1990s and 2000s. “We’ve been waiting for the right partners who understand our story,” Nathan Morris said, praising producers Denis O’Sullivan (Bohemian Rhapsody) and Jeff Kalligheri (I Wanna Dance with Somebody). With over 60 million albums sold globally, Boyz II Men, who debuted with Cooleyhighharmony in 1991, have continued to tour and recently headlined a sold-out, three-night stint at the Hollywood Bowl.

Offset involved in physical altercation in France over alleged $150,000 dispute.
American rapper Offset was caught in a heated street fight with the crew of French rapper Gazo in Paris, as captured in a video published by TMZ. Shallipopi confirms leaving Dapper Music in a new interview.
Nigerian street-hop star Crown Uzama, popularly known as Shallipopi, has announced his departure from Dapper Music Entertainment. The 24-year-old Benin native, who rose to fame in 2023 with hits like Elon Musk, Oscroh, and Cast, has continued to shine in 2024 with his album Shakespopi and collaborations, including Rema’s Benin Boys and Smur’s viral track Juju featuring Odumodublvck. Amid rumors of fellow artist Seyi Vibez also leaving Dapper Music, Shallipopi confirmed his exit, explaining that his contract had naturally concluded. Speaking to Naija FM, he emphasized that there was no animosity with the label, adding that it felt like the right time to move forward. Shallipopi is now focused on growing his independent record label, which includes his brother Zerry DL. He also hinted at future collaborations with top artists like Olamide and shared plans for his evolving career.

Cameron Diaz returns to the screen after 10 years; plays spy with Jamie Foxx.
After a 10-year hiatus from acting, Cameron Diaz is making her return in Netflix’s action-comedy Back in Action, starring alongside Jamie Foxx. In the film, the pair play former CIA spies who retire to start a family but are pulled back into the espionage world when their cover is blown. The movie marks the third collaboration between Diaz and Foxx, who previously starred together in Annie (2014) and Any Given Sunday (1999). Diaz, who retired in 2018, credited Foxx as a major reason for her comeback. “I couldn’t say no to Jamie,” she shared at Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit in October. “He said, ‘Come with me,’ and I was like, ‘OK, let’s do it.'” The actress also reflected on how the past decade allowed her to “reclaim my own life” before returning to the screen.
