Ilebaye emerges winner of Big Brother Naija All Stars season.
After ten weeks of continuous drama and high grade entertainment, Big Brother Naija, the All Stars edition has finally come to an end, with underdog, Ilebaye claiming the winning prize of the reality tv show. Perhaps, the housemate who formed the biggest connection with the audience, Ilebaye accrued 30.08%. Mercy Eke was the runner up with 23.48% and CeeC with 23.41%. Adekunle, Pere and Cross also claimed the fourth, fifth and sixth positions respectively. Ilebaye will walk home with a grand prize of 120 million naira, as well as other gift prizes.

Unical finds law professor guilty of demanding sexual favour from students.
Over the last months, a sex scandal has rocked University of Calabar law department, after some female law students accused the Dean of the faculty, Professor Cyril Ndifon of soliciting sexual advances for grades and harassing students who rejected his advances. The university management had set up a probe panel to investigate these allegations. However, new reports have indicated that the suspended professor has been found guilty of bargaining for sexual favours and intimidation. The probe panel also established that Prof. Cyril was also involved in students’ exploitation.

Portland Trail blazers are trading Jrue Holiday to Boston Celtics.
All star point guard, Jrue Holiday was involved in the trade that sent Damian Lillard to Milwaukee Bucks. Despite being one of the best two way guards in the league, Portland was resolved to trade him immediately. This has now been actualized, with Holiday now traded to the Boston Celtics. The deal will see Portland receive center, Robert Williams and guard, Malcolm Brogdon. Also, Portland will also receive a 2024 first round pick from the Golden States Warriors and a 2029 first round pick.
