Filming for the upcoming Watch Dogs live-action movie, starring Tom Blyth and Sophie Wilde, has officially wrapped, according to director, Mathieu Turi. Shooting began on July 3 and concluded on September 13, 2024. The movie is set in the same universe as the popular video game franchise published by Ubisoft. Turi confirmed the news on Instagram with a “That’s a Wrap” post. The film, directed by Turi, features a screenplay by Victoria Bata and a story by Christie LeBlanc. Recently, Markella Kavenagh (The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power) joined the cast. Watch Dogs is produced by Yariv Milchan and Natalie Lehmann of New Regency, with Ubisoft Film & Television, Margaret Boykin also serving as a producer. The film is set to release in 2025, though no distributor has been announced yet.
