Tidal reduces its $19.99 High-Res streaming subscription price.
With most subscribers unwilling to pay monthly $20 for the highest possible audio fidelity plan, popular music streaming platform, Tidal has just decided to combine its present Hifi and Hifi plus tier streaming plans into a single subscription service that will be called “Tidal”. This plan is set to commence from April 10 and will cost only $10.99. Music lovers have expressed great interest in this plan which will feature the high-res Free Lossless Audio Codec (FLAC), Dolby Mixes and other high quality mixes.

Tyla cancels her North American tour and Coachella performance.
South African sensation, Tyla has enjoyed the spotlight since her song, “Water” hit a global wave. The song became the third African record to enter the top 10 on the Billboard top 100 charts and has now been received a RIAA Platinum certification for over one million units sold in the country. Ahead of her upcoming self-named album, “Tyla”, her scheduled North American tour has now been cancelled due to health related concerns. She revealed this news on her social media account yesterday. Leaving many praying for the highly talented Tyla.

Bill to ban TikTok in the United States gaining momentum in Congress.
Emerging reports from the United States are indicating that efforts are being made to ban popular social and video-sharing application, TikTok in the country. TikTok has become one of the most used mobile applications in the world with over 150 million monthly users. Whilst there have been previous attempts to ban the app due to its ties with China in the past with warnings of security breaches from China gaining access to the users’ data, these attempts have either stalled or fallen into legal jeopardy. However, a new attempt to ban the app is presently gaining traction in the Congress.

FLO reveals their upcoming debut album will be a solo project.
British RnB group, FLO has just updated fans on future new releases. After announcing that the release of their first single of the year, “Walk Like This”, the girl-group has also disclosed in an interview that their debut album will be a solo project, hinting at a deluxe version which will include features. One of the group members, Quaresma stated that the group was growing and so would their music. While no other information on the upcoming debut album is yet to be revealed, fans are optimistic that the project will be highly successful..
