Manchester United witnessed another low in their away game on Wednesday’s champions league match, as they failed to beat Copenhagen despite being two goals up through Rasmus Højlund in the first 25 minutes of the game. Marcus Rashford’s red card gave the home side the opportunity to equalize with two successive goals in the first half. United took the lead again in the 69th minute through Bruno Fernandes’ penalty but fell apart again in the last minutes of the match and conceding two more goals to lose 4-3. Manchester United are last on the Group A standing. Bayern Munich’s win over Galatasaray has helped them book a place in the round of 16 and the three other teams will have to battle for the second spot in the group.
Milwaukee Bucks secure third consecutive win despite Giannis’ ejection.
Despite the high expectations from fans and critics due to the new Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo’s partnership, the Milwaukee Bucks have not started the new season strongly. Currently 29th in the NBA defensive rating, their loss to the Toronto Raptors and the Atlanta Hawks have stirred a conversation among fans and pundits. However, the Bucks secured their third consecutive win of the season, defeating the Detroit Pistons 120-118 despite Giannis being ejected at the start of the third quarter for his second technical foul of the game. Damian Lillard scored 34 points, including 18 of them being in the fourth quarter points to spearhead the Bucks’ comeback. They are the second seed in the Eastern conference presently, with five wins and two losses.

Diego Simeone signs new long term contract with Atletico Madrid.
Atletico Madrid manager, Diego Simeone has signed a new long term deal with the La Liga giant which will keep him at the club until 2027. After an inconsistent 2022/2023 season, speculations about Simeone potentially leaving the club grew. However, he has spearheaded Atletico Madrid to one of the club’s best starts in recent times, as they presently sit fourth place in the La Liga table and first in Group E of the Champions League. He took over the club in 2011, winning eight trophies, including two League titles and two Europa League cups.
