Morocco records over 1000 deaths in latest Marrakech earthquake.

Morocco has just recorded one of the most devastating earthquakes in its history. With a magnitude of about 6.8, with several lives lost and properties have been damaged. Updated reports from the country suggests that about 1300 people have died, mostly within the Marrakech and other five provinces close to the epicenter. Whilst evacuations are being enacted, Morocco has declared a three day national mourning period for the victims of this tragedy, with flags set to be flown at half mast. Prayers are up for Morocco!
