FIFA to hold its first 32-team Club World Cup in 2025.
In recent years, FIFA and other footballing organizations have been working to develop more competitions and while some have praised them for their innovations, others have criticized them for solely focusing on the economic benefits and not the physical and emotional responsibilities of the players. One of the innovations introduced by FIFA is an extension of the FIFA Club World Cup into a 32-team competition. This tournament is scheduled to commence in the United States in 2025. The last three Champions League Winners, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester City have automatically qualified for the competition.

Lisandro Martinez resumes training after 3 months injury.
Manchester United and Argentina’s center back, Lisandro Martinez, enjoyed an impressive season, spearheading a much improved Man United’s back line, winning the Carabao Cup and World Cup. This was short lived after fracturing a metatarsal bone in his foot in April, during the first leg quarter final game against Sevilla. This raised clouds over United’s Champions League qualification and FA cup final win. Despite losing the FA cup final to rival, Manchester City, United were able to hold on to the UCL qualification. However, Lisandro’s return will be a huge boost for the team, as they head into preseason.

Zendaya to star in new movie, CHALLENGERS.
Popular actress, Zendaya, is set to appear in Challengers. This movie, which is based on Camille DeAngelis’ novel, uses a plot which details a Grand Slam Tennis Champion who signs up to compete in a challenger event against the former lover of his wife and coach. This movie which also features Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist is set to be released on September 15 and many fans are immediately over the moon, anticipating the release of this movie.

TITANIC movie set to be added back to Netflix from July 1.
The world is still overwhelmed by the horrific implosion of Titan, a submersible which was operated by OceanGate, for an expedition to the Titanic wreck. Although there are plans to continually search the sea floor for clues as to why the event that caused the death of the four passengers and pilot. Numerous reactions have been triggered online especially following Channel 5’s plan to air a documentary for the missing submersible. In light of this tragedy, Netflix has announced that Titanic will be added back to its platform from July 1.
