Twitter temporarily limits daily views for users.
Twitter has steadily become a part of many people’s realities, for various purposes like education, work and entertainment. The social media platform has been used significantly in pushing political, social and economic discourses across the globe. Yesterday, however, the platform witnessed a huge crash due to the extreme level of data scrapping and system manipulation. Consequently, this has resulted in the decision to temporarily limit reading posts for all users on the platform. Elon Musk, Twitter’s CEO, indicated that verified accounts would be limited to reading six thousand posts daily, six hundred for unverified accounts and three hundred for newly unverified accounts.
To address extreme levels of data scraping & system manipulation, we’ve applied the following temporary limits:
– Verified accounts are limited to reading 6000 posts/day
– Unverified accounts to 600 posts/day

The Glastonbury fans were raving all through the five days scheduled for the festival. The stage, which witnessed many big performances from stars like Elton John, Wizkid and Lizzo, saw fans run away with the biggest moment of this year’s festival. Lewis Capaldi, who had earlier notified his fans of his struggle with Tourette syndrome, seemed to have had an attack during his performance. While this temporarily rendered him unable to continue his performance, the crowd continued his performance, creating such an emotional ambience for the artiste and audience generally.
