University of Lagos’ final-year student, Ayelabola Ololade has shattered a 41-year-old Guinness World Record for the longest distance catwalk. The previous record was set by two Irish models in September 1983. The record-breaking event took place at the UNILAG indoor sports center from October 1-5, where she received enthusiastic support from family and friends. Reflecting on her achievement, Ololade expressed mixed feelings, noting the inspiration she felt from others around her. She thanked her parents, volunteers, and stakeholders, emphasizing that their support was crucial to her success. Urging fellow models to “dare to dream,” she highlighted the importance of a positive attitude. Ololade completed 2,058 laps, covering 130.62 km, surpassing the previous record of 114.4 km.

After emerging reports of turning down a Coachella headline, Kendrick Lamar might be close to releasing a new album. Fans of K. Ridley Scott disclosed that he has commenced writing Gladiator III.
With Gladiator II set to premiere on November 22, 24 years after the original film, fans may not have to wait long for a potential third installment. Oscar-nominated Director, Ridley Scott has revealed that he has already begun working on the script for Gladiator III. He said, “I’ve already got eight pages. I’ve got the beginning of a very good footprint.” He hinted that if a third film occurs, it would not revisit the arena. This isn’t the first time Scott has mentioned the idea; he previously indicated he was “toying with the idea of Gladiator III” in an interview with a French Magazine.
