American rapper Travis Scott was arrested in Paris early Friday morning following an altercation with his bodyguard, according to French authorities. Scott, who was in the city for the Olympic Games, attended the men’s basketball semi-final on Thursday where the U.S. defeated Serbia. The incident occurred at the luxurious George V hotel, where Scott allegedly attacked a security guard who was trying to break up a dispute between him and his bodyguard. As a result, Scott was detained for “violence against another person.” A representative for Scott stated, “We are in direct communication with the local Parisian authorities to swiftly resolve this matter and will provide updates when appropriate.”

New trailer and release date for new Lion King prequel has been released.
Disney has unveiled the full trailer for “Mufasa: The Lion King,” a prequel to the 2019 film. Scheduled for a theatrical release on December 20th, the movie explores the origin of Mufasa, focusing on his journey from an orphaned cub to the revered king of the Pride Lands and his complex relationship with Scar. The trailer debuted at the D23 event on August 9, where Disney also disclosed the release dates for other upcoming releases.
