Killer Mike announces a new album, “Songs for Sinners and Saints”.
Following the success of his Grammy-winning album “Michael”, which earned the Best Rap Album and Performance awards, Killer Mike has announced his upcoming project, “Songs for Sinners & Saints”. On July 29th, the rapper took to social media to reveal the new album. The album is inspired by the events at the Grammy Awards, where Mike was arrested after his wins. Mike shared, “I had a year to live with Michael and realized I had more I wanted to do with this sound before moving on.” He describes the album as a testimonial of his trials and triumphs. The ten-track album will include a gospel-infused song, “Nobody Knows” featuring Antony Hamilton, his newly released single, “Humble Me,” which addresses the Grammy incident, and reworked tracks like “Exit 9 Scenic Route” and “Still Talkin That Sh*t!”. The project will be released this Friday.

Police reveal suspected killers of Jacksonville rapper, Julio Foolio.
Over a month after Jacksonville rapper Julio Foolio was fatally shot in a Tampa hotel parking lot, Florida authorities have announced the arrest of three suspects, while two remain at large. Hotel surveillance footage shows the attackers wearing black masks and wielding two semi-automatic rifles and a pistol as they opened fire. Police have stated that the murder stemmed from an ongoing feud between rival gangs. Suspects Andrews and Chance face charges of premeditated first-degree murder with a firearm and conspiracy to commit premeditated first-degree murder with a firearm. Gathright is charged with two counts of premeditated murder with a firearm, three counts of first-degree attempted premeditated murder with a firearm, and tampering with evidence. The remaining suspects, Davion and Rashad Murphy, are still on the run.
