Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage has revealed she is considering retiring from music. In a recent Instagram story, the singer shared that her upcoming studio album might be her last, citing exhaustion and feeling she has given her all. “This might be my last studio album. I’m tired. I don try,” she wrote. However, Tiwa did not disclose the album’s title or release date. The 44-year-old rose to fame in 2010 with her breakout single “Kele Kele Love” and has since become one of Nigeria’s most prominent artists. In 2018, she made history as the first female African artist to win Best African Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards and later signed with Universal Music Group in 2019. Tiwa’s notable works include her debut album Once Upon a Time (2013), R.E.D (2015), Sugarcane EP (2017), Celia (2020), and Water and Garri (2021).
