Lil Uzi Vert teases a new song mentioning media personality, Ebro Darden.
American rapper, Lil Uzi Vert recently announced their upcoming album Eternal Atake 2, and fans noticed a track titled “Chill Ebro” on the partially revealed tracklist, likely a nod to recent comments by radio personality Ebro Darden. Weeks ago, Ebro critiqued Uzi on a panel, reflecting on their 2016 discussion about Uzi’s future and arguing that, despite their success, Uzi still hadn’t reached rockstar status as promised. Ebro referenced legendary rock icons who fill venues like MetLife Stadium and Madison Square Garden, suggesting that Lil Uzi Very has yet to reach that level. Back in 2020, however, Ebro celebrated Uzi’s chart-topping Eternal Atake debut, posting that they had proved him wrong. Uzi responded calmly to Ebro’s critiques, encouraging fans to forgive him for “hating,” with the lighthearted comment, “He old.. He don’t know no better.”
