“Alien: Romulus” predicted to accrue over $100 million in its first week.

Alien: Romulus, the latest in the sci-fi franchise, debuted this weekend and has already achieved a significant milestone. Afrobeats star Wizkid has officially released his popular track “Lagos Vibes,” which initially leaked in 2018. Despite the leak, fans have long regarded the song as one of the most melodic in Wizkid’s discography, and he even performed it during his 2021 Made in Lagos concert. Following the recent release of another 2018 leak, “Highgrade” featuring Ty Dolla $ign on Spotify, “Lagos Vibes” is now available exclusively on Apple Music. David Jonsson completes the script for his first tv series, “Hype”.

Popular actor, David Jonsson, most known for his roles in “Industry” and “Rye Lane”, has completed his debut television drama series. The show, titled “Hype”, is a comedy-drama about four friends in East London aspiring to break into the fashion retail industry. Produced by Clerkenwell Films, known for “Baby Reindeer”, the series will delve into the impact of Black culture on British fashion through the characters’ experiences. Jonsson will write, executive produce, and star in the series, collaborating with senior executives at Clerkenwell, who also produced “Somewhere Boy” and “The End of the F***ing World”. Petra Fried and Rachelle Constant are executive producers for the BBC Studios-owned indie.

Australian reboot of “The Office” set for release this October on Prime Video.

Prime Video has released the first look at the Australian version of “The Office,” set to premiere on October 18. This is the 13th adaptation of the global hit, and it features a female lead for the first time. Felicity Ward stars as Hannah Howard, the managing director of Flinley Craddick, alongside a cast of Australian and New Zealand talents, including Edith Poor, Steen Raskopoulos, and Shari Sebbens. The Australian version of “The Office” follows versions in France, Canada, Israel, India, and more countries.The eight-part series is co-produced by BBC Studios Australia & New Zealand, Bunya Entertainment, and Amazon MGM Studios. Developed by writers Julie De Fina and Jackie van Beek, this Australian take follows other international versions of “The Office,” while the U.S. also recently announced a new mockumentary series in the same universe.
